After seven years of dedicated service, I am excited to announce my candidacy for another term on the school board. Serving this community has been one of the greatest honors of my life, and I am eager to continue championing our students, families, and educators in pursuit of our district’s new mission and vision.
Our schools are thriving thanks to the dedication of our outstanding staff and the leadership of our high-performing board. Their commitment to academic excellence, inclusivity, and preparing students for success in an ever-evolving world is truly inspiring. I am determined to support and strengthen this incredible foundation as we work toward our shared vision of cultivating confident, creative, and compassionate students who are equipped with the skills, knowledge, and resilience to excel in a global society.
Throughout my tenure, I have prioritized expanding funding and opportunities for Special Education, creating inclusive environments, and ensuring every child has the support they need to flourish. I have also been committed to fiscal responsibility, helping maintain a strong fund balance and earning our district a stellar credit rating—leading to significant savings for taxpayers by refinancing Bonds.
As I seek another term, I remain steadfast in my commitment to modernizing our aging 1960s buildings with enhanced safety features and innovative learning spaces designed for collaboration and 21st-century education. I look forward to continuing this vital work alongside our exceptional team.

Meet Gary
Gary is a 22 year resident of North Bend with his wife Jennifer and two sons. He served as the Chair of the North Bend Planning Commission and community representative member on the Mountains to Sound Greenway's Middle Fork Gateway Group. Previously, he worked as a Program Manager and in mortgage and retail banking.
